The OSS system has been officially launched on 9 July 2018. All business players shall obtain Business Identification Number (Nomor Induk Berusaha or "NIB"), by registration in the OSS system. One of NIB’s functions is to replace customs access of exporter and importer. Exporter and importer may commence their export and import activity within one business day once they have obtained NIB.
However, as for Custom Services Entrepreneur (Pengusaha Pengurusan Jasa Kepabeanan or PPJK), shipper (Pengangkut), Temporary Storage Service Entrepreneur (Pengusaha Tempat Penimbunan Sementara), and courier service (Pengusaha Jasa Titipan or PJT), custom access is still applied through Indonesia National Single Window System (registrasi.insw.go.id).
Although most, if not all, licensing application has been transferred to OSS system, some other application are still remained under BKPM. Below is type of licenses which are still handled and processed through One Stop Services of BKPM:
